How does teletherapy work?
Teletherapy involves the use of video-conferencing technology to remotely provide therapy services to clients. The client is provided with a secure and private link to a HIPAA compliant video conferencing software.
Is teletherapy as effective as in-person services?
A growing body of research has found that virtual therapy, is just as efficacious as in-person formats. It also increases access for those that may have previously been unable to receive services.
What do I need to be able to do teletherapy?

Does my therapist take insurance?
Therapists at Shades of Therapy do not take insurance. You can however request reimbursement from your insurance company.
