I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Illinois, Georgia, Virginia, and Maryland and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I received my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Florida State University and have nearly 12 years of clinical experience in traditional outpatient and community settings.
My approach to treatment is strength-based, meaning that I believe every client has the ability to create change for her, him, or themself. Thus, my role as a therapist is to create a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgemental space in which my clients are supported and empowered to embark on a journey towards changing their lives for the better.
I also provide AAMFT Approved Supervision to licensure seeking therapists and AAMFT Approved Mentorship to licensed therapists seeking the approved supervisor designation.

I’m Annie, and I help individuals, couples, and families with their relationships. I graduated from University of Rochester with a master's in marriage and family therapy. I believe in the power of relationships to transform our lives, and so I aim to build a genuine relationship with you as we work towards your goals. I want to ensure that you feel heard and understood! To do this, I use a combination of multiple therapy approaches, including: strengths-based, systemic, emotion-focused, and solution-focused approaches.
Through my collaborative and nonjudgmental approach to counseling, I can support you with your journey toward peace. You can gain confidence, learn to effectively communicate, and develop deeper connections with others. I look forward to learning all about your story and getting to know you!
